With every iteration, the Arahi rewrites the history of the support shoe
Boasting the seemingly contradictory attributes of maximum cushion with minimum weight, the Arahi 3 delivers a more refined midsole and improved heel rocker. When Hoka launched the J-Frame™ midsole in 2017 they believed that it heralded the future of the stability running shoe. Simply put, stability had gotten complicated, so their team just simplified it with Dynamic Stability, which supports the foot by guiding it through its natural gait cycle without the use of rigid and unforgiving materials. It meant all runners could enjoy Hoka One One®’s cushioned, lightweight ride without constrictions. The Arahi 3 brings all innovative features from the Arahi 2 and adds an all-new lightweight upper. Engineered from breathable mesh with increased midfoot lockdown, the upper and improved midsole makes the Arahi 3 the most nimble and most supportive ride yet.
Lightweight, open engineered mesh to optimize comfort and breathability.
Early stage Meta-Rocker for smooth ride.
Firmer Eva J-Frame™ for lightweight support.
Flat-waisted geometry provides inherent stability.
Zonal rubber placement for durability.

Dynamic Stability uses Hoka's J-Frame geometry, which takes a functionality of the Active Foot Frame midsole, a sort of anatomical racing seat that provides additional support thanks to the use of high-density foam at the center, at the exact point where the overproned foot rolls along the entire length to the toe. This "J" shaped insert also extends towards the back of the sole to wrap and support the heel. It supports and protects your foot by guiding it without the use of heavy, rigid materials.
- Developed to counteract hyper-pronation.
- It guides the foot without the use of rigid and uncomfortable materials.
- Provides stability for a light, cushioned ride.
Meta-Rocker, or wheels for your feet, is all about the geometry. The Hoka team combine a low heel-toe drop, their unique-shaped midsoles and signature Hoka cushioning to complement a runner's normal gait cycle and drive you forward.
