Spin Ultra GTX is the performing shoe developed for agility, reactivity, shock-absorbing and protection on long distances competitions and long trainings during winter months.
Upper
In mesh with applications in heat-sealed TPU film, integrated with a shockresistant 3D TPU toe cap. Tongue in lightweight and breathable fabric with pocket for laces. The upper wraps the foot like a sock thanks to the Sock-Fit LW construction system, avoiding pressure points and ensuring maximum comfort and precision fit.
Lacing
The lace loops are integrated with the upper structure to wrap the foot without pressure points. HLP-hidden lace pocket (Lace pocket).
Lining
GORE-TEX invisible fit technology offers complete protection from inclement weather with a fit and feel same as non-protective running shoes. Less pressure marks thanks to absence of stitching points along ankle and heel and wider toe box. Fast dry-out times (up to 50% less than standard construction).
Sole Velox LB Max
- Low density EVA forefoot insert, with differentiated thickness for maximum cushioning.
- ESS forefoot insert, for maximum propulsion and Shock-Absorbing.

Exo
Upper construction system designed and developed by Scarpa. Lateral protections (insert or thermowelded cage) combined with upper, create an exoskleton that better protect, support and contain the foot.
Sockfit LW
On the Trail Running models, the tongue is constructed in a single piece of elastic fabric which allows a light wrap around your feet, offering a snug feel and lateral stability.
Vibram® Megagrip
A high performance sticky rubber compound featuring unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability.
Gore-Tex®
Gore-Tex® fabrics offer long-lasting, comfortable weather protection. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for rain to penetrate, yet big enough for perspiration to pass right through. Gore-Tex® products have a high waterproof rating (water column) and can withstand up to 28,000 mm of water pressure – more than monsoon rain. The membrane is bonded between an outer fabric and a high-performance lining. Depending on the construction, the result is either a 2-layer, 2.5-layer or 3-layer laminate. Gore-Tex® in a 3-layer construction offers a combination of enhanced durability and high breathability, while the 2-layer laminate provides lightweight weather protection.
